If it moves, Kill it.
Well, attempt number #1 at el crapo home page. I think I'm going pretty well in the crapo aspect :)
-Lorna isn't very good at making these things... yet. For now, until I update this thing, this'll have to do.
Now, I'm just going to crap on about music... for instance:
Green Day I've seen these guys live on their Nimrod tour, and let me tell you, they're WICKED live. Apart from the fact there were quite a lot of teeny boppers and their favorite song was "hitchen' a ride" (the only one they'd heard) it was a good concert, and the green men did quite a lot of the oldies, starting the set with 'Welcome to paradise' and ending in 'Good Riddance' (or 'Time of your life' as the teeny boppers call it)
The Smashing Pumpkins These guys I saw when they did their 'Adore' tour and dispite being my fave band, I almost didn't get to see them because I couldn't afford a ticket. Luckily, a WONDERFUL friend of mine bought me two tickets (Thanx Arlee, I Luv You!) So I took two friends, Ness and Sarah (we bought an extra ticket.) They played a few of the old songs (off Mellon Collie) but they sounded a lot different to the original versions and all the newer ones (from Adore)
Powderfinger I love Bernard!! These are one of the best bands I've seen live, they're great! In my opinion they're one of the best Aussie bands around, and certainly the best I've seen live. I saw them at the Big Day Out, but unfortuantly they were on just before Korn, so there were some people yelling "fuck Powderfinger! we want Korn!" but as most people in the Pdfngr crowd didn't hear these people it wasn't that bad :) They played quite a lot of songs from 'Double Allergic' and quite a few off the new album, 'Internationalist'.
Korn Yay! I got to see Korn at BDO and they were great, I managed to fight my way down to the barrier (and that's not easy being shortish and light) Jon was wearing a silver and blue kilt with a silver sporren, and played the bagpipes, and munky (who was a few metres in front of me) was being wicked as usual :)
Frenzal Rhomb I haven't yet had the pleasure of meeting these most handsome men.. yet. Apparently they're touring in April so I'll see them then. My friends have seen them play a few times, and hung out with them quite a lot. For some reason I always seem to be doing something else when they go and see them...
I get to see Deep Purple when they play at Melbourne Park on April 20th. I'm going with my mum, she payed for the tickets:)
Confessions: (the ones mild enough to put on here that is!)
Mr Herring: It was Mim and I who put that mashed banana in your pencil case that day, and we dont regret it, and it was totally worth that week of detentions! (P.S- Mrs Johnson thought it was funny too)
Next door neighbours: Yes, that was me who blew up that condom and floated it over the fence during your "important garden party thing"
Katy: Yes, it was me who scratched your CD when I got really pissed off at you..... pity it still worked though, so I didn't actually achieve much
Mrs Howey: I never actually did that project on the Oranugutan last year, I just sorta... re-used one I did 2 years previous
I wasn't really sorry that I punched you-know-who, someone was bound to do it sometime.
If any of my mates would like to add their own confessions here (or can think of things I've done that need to be added) , mail them to me :)
