Well, I searched the net for ages looking for this recipe, so I figured I'd make it a little easier for other to find it if they want :)
This recipe makes about 20 cookies
4oz butter (110g)
1 egg, beaten
4oz soft brown sugar (110g)
2oz toasted chopped nuts (50g)
3oz plain flour (75g) - Note: must be plain flour, not self
raising.
1/2 tspn. Vanilla essence
and your 1/8th of an ounce of the evil green stuff (about 5
grams)
prep. time ~15 minutes
cooking time ~25 minutes
pre-heat oven to: 150 centigrade (gas mark 2) (300 Farenheit)
1) beat the powdered hash, butter and sugar together, until
mixture is light and fluffy.
2) Beat in the egg and the vanilla essence, add the remaining
ingredients and stir until thorougly mixed.
3) scoop up lumps of the cookie dough, roll them into ping-pong
ball sized round, then arrange them on baking trays. allow plenty
of space as the dough will expand in the oven. flatten the balls
into cookie shapes.
4)Bake your cookies in the centre of an oven for about 25 minutes
or until they become golden brown, and feel firm to the touch.
5) after baking, quickly transfer the cookies onto a wire rack to
cool. Store the cookies in an airtight container.
